“It’s not many hairdressers these days where your stylist takes you through the entire process. That’s one of the things I love about Grip and my Stylist Theo. From when you go in and start the session with a consultation and what the plans are for your hair, till you walk out feeling beautifully regroomed, he’s there. You feel that the hairstyle and colours are truly appropriate for you – because they take the time to get to know you. And if that’s not enough, add in the beSt head massage in the world and great organic products. What more could you ask for?”

Luciano has been my hairdresser for nearly 7 years, he does all my cutting, colouring and treatments and I am really happy with his work. I have naturally dry, curly hair and until I discovered Luciano I had not been able to find anyone who could give me a cut that worked well for my hair and I always used to tie it up. He does the best blow dry which leaves my hair silky and shiny, and I am often complemented on my highlights which have lifted the dullness out of my dark blonde hair. He gives me great tips on looking after my hair in between appointments like washing it a little less often and making sure I get it cut regularly which has meant the condition of my hair has definitely improved. I had the Brazilian Blow Dry Treatment a few weeks ago and this has taken my hair to another level. It is now so easy to manage, if I want it straight after washing it takes just a few minutes with a hair drier, I don’t even need to use a brush and I have a sleek style with no frizz, or if I want it a little wavy I can just let it dry naturally. Luciano himself is polite and friendly and we never run out of things to talk about. I would highly recommend him as a hairdresser.

I had almost given up when I discovered Grip.

I had trawled all the local salons in Wimbledon looking for someone who would simply listen to what I wanted to achieve with my hair. A colleague at work recommended her stylist at Grip who was a breath of fresh air. He actually did listen, sounds obvious but rarely happens these days and we discussed what I was aiming for and I was thrilled with the results. I find that on returning to him, he always does something a little different and I can’t wait for my next appointment. I have even tried hair colour for the first time.
