Has been hairdressing forever, was a fashion victim from an early age and wanted to be a hairdresser from the age of 12. She finds hairdressing the most rewarding job in the world. Survived some embarrassing moments when she started out working with 5 virile male hairdressers like, taking a cape off a male client who was naked underneath! A passion for chardonnay and cleaning helps her unwind and gym with personal trainer 3 times a week keeps her fit. She runs the salon with the efficiency of a triple Virgo.
Started his career in hairdressing 25yrs ago in Australia after being conned into thinking it was glamorous, He continues working as a hairdresser because of the job satisfaction he receives and loves working at grip because he absolutely adores his clients and the salon. His hobbies include painting with acrylic, great food and falling asleep in the sun
Also known as Lucy or Nano started hairdressing 15 years ago when his cousin gave him a job in Brazil. He loves working at grip because of the atmosphere, the organic products and the natural colours. In his spare time he loves riding his motorbike, playing PS3 or tearing it up on the dance floor at a salsa club. He would love to do Angelina Joli’s hair (because she is beautiful) and if he could be an animal for a day he’d be a Tiger.
Otherwise known as PJ or Queen PJ, started his career in Beauty therapy 11 years ago as he wanted to help make people look and feel better. He is now the star Beauty Therapist at Grip and one of Dermalogica’s most qualified therapists and still gets great job satisfaction making his clients look even more fabulous. He loves all aspects of his job but his passion is for treating the skin through his fabulous facials. When PJ isn’t working at Grip he is either, shopping, eating out, going to the movies/theatre or doing even more shopping. His favorite food is chocolate (he swears this is good for the skin!) and he loves New York. If he wasn’t a Beauty Therapist he would be an international pop star, film star or a model. Peter loves his clients at Grip but dreams of the day he can work on his idol Dannii Minogue.
